CodedRealities ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the DayForm mobile application ("App") and related services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID identifier. Depending on your Apple Sign-In settings, we may also receive your email address and full name. If you choose to hide your email, Apple provides a private relay address instead.

1.2 Profile Information

You may optionally set a display name (store name) for publishing widget templates, and upload a profile avatar. This information is stored on our servers and is visible to other users when you publish templates to the Widget Store.

1.4 Apple Health Data

If you choose to enable the Apple Health integration, DayForm reads health metrics from Apple HealthKit. This data is read on-device only and is displayed within your daily entries. We do not transmit Apple Health data to our servers.

1.5 Widget Store Activity

When you interact with the Widget Store, we record which templates you download, ratings you submit, and comments you post. If you publish a template, we store the template content, metadata, and version history.

1.6 AI Assistant

DayForm includes an AI-powered journal assistant. When you use this feature, your messages and the assistant's responses are processed by a third-party AI model provider. We store conversation metadata (titles, summaries, message counts) and usage metrics to provide the service and manage usage limits. The AI assistant may reference your journal entries to provide contextual responses; this data is sent to the AI provider only during active conversations and is not retained by the provider.

1.7 Bookmarks and Saved Items

When you save links to DayForm via the iOS Share Sheet or within the app, we store the URL, page title, description, and preview image URL. This data is synced to our servers for backup and cross-device access.

1.8 Support Messages

If you contact us through the in-app support chat, we store your messages and any images you share in the conversation. This data is used solely to provide customer support and is accessible only to our support team.

1.9 Feature Requests

If you submit feature requests, vote on suggestions, or post comments in the feature request section, we store this activity associated with your account.

1.10 Push Notifications

If you grant notification permissions, we store your device push token to send you support replies and important account notifications. We do not use push notifications for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your data seriously. All data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption at rest and protected with TLS (HTTPS) encryption in transit. We employ industry-standard security practices including secure token-based authentication, encrypted credential storage on your device, and regular security reviews of our infrastructure.

Your data is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with built-in redundancy and access controls. We follow the principle of least privilege, ensuring only necessary services can access your data.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account through the App, we permanently delete all of your data from our servers, including your profile, journal entries, media files, AI conversations, bookmarks, support threads, published templates, comments, and ratings. This deletion is irreversible.

DayForm is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that information.

DayForm does not use third-party analytics services. We do not track your behavior across other apps or websites. We do not display advertisements. The only data we collect is what is necessary to provide the service as described above.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
